Spur of the Moment
Last May 2004, Arvin and I decided to go to Puerto Galera without any plans at all... he called me around 10am, then before you know it, we were already in a cab going to Batangas Pier by lunch time. (Yes, we took a cab! hahaha!)

And last Saturday, I had that kind of thing again. This time with Jojoe (Sahanant), another gay friend. He just asked me Friday afternoon if I was working over the weekend and I told him, yes I have to work until Saturday because I have an exhibition for a client. Anyhow, he ended up picking me up at the exhibition hall and we drove all the way to Pattaya (a few hours drive from Bangkok, its the nearest beach from the city).
























And oh, another crazy spur of the moment thing... we decided to drive back to Bangkok at 2:30am after all the partying (I have more pictures of this later!!!)... We were supposed to stay with my new Filipino friend, Joey who works at the Royal Cliff Beach Resort.

Case Closed (?)
Here are the facts:

  • Age matters. I cannot possibly be with someone who is 18 years older than me.
  • I am still looking for a cute guy. I am still hoping that my true love will turn out to be a gorgeous man.
  • I'm not shallow. I cannot love a guy just for his money. As the cliche goes, you can't buy love.
  • I remain to be a decent girl.

So there. There will be no wedding in December or January or anytime in the near future. Heck, I don't have to be in a hurry. I'm still young and I have at least 5 years or even more to enjoy my single life and hope for TRUE LOVE.

It's a long weekend again here in Thailand.
Monday is Chulalungkorn Day (he's the 5th King).

So it means, I have time to catch up on my much needed sleep, read books, shop (ooopps! I'm supposed to be poor this month, so I should not shop! hahaha), and THINK...

Will I go for the one who's more into me than I am into him?
Or keep my hopes up with someone I'm so into, but who seems to be not that into me?

Four Days
No internet. No blogs. No sms. No phone calls.
Just officemates, clients and their dealers. Together with the mountains and trees...


And I hated every minute of it.

I hate peace and tranquility. I love stress. I love the chaotic city traffic and pollution, my cable connection and most especially phone calls from him whoever he is.

Age: Does it Really Matter?
He's 45.
Im 27.

Everybody knows that I've been on the look out for TRUE LOVE. I've been sooo blessed already with a supportive family, great friends and a job that I love (plus the money that goes along with it!). TRUE LOVE na lang talaga.

My requirements are pretty simple naman:
  • Caucasian
  • At least taller than me
  • Financially stable (meaning he should have more than I do)
  • Someone who will love me MORE than I will love him.

See... no age limit! It doesn't matter!

However, thinking about it now, I should include an age limit. No matter what other people say, and no matter how much I convince myself, it still does matter. Especially to me.

Just think... when I turn 35, he will be 53!!!

I can't. I just can't.

Calling it "a bad day" is an understatement...
Sheesh.
Kainezzz talaga ang mga punyetang mga ka-opisina ko!
Inaaksaya ang oras ko!

Here's what happened:

Lunch meeting extended, they decided to move the 2pm meeting to 4pm.
Fine. Not a problem.

Then at 1pm, I got an MSN message telling me that the Thai word I used was not really appropriate... duh?! How should I know??? I asked them about it 2 weeks ago when I was writing the proposal... they said it was okay, thus I applied it to all the creative materials.

I really got pissed off. I started 'nagging' them. But still fine... I can revise it quickly.

I sent it the revisions 15 minutes after they told me about their comment. Ganda diba?

So I went back to writing other proposals... and eventually decided to leave at 3pm. Traffic is terrible. I called my officemates (they were at the other office) to instruct the cab driver where to go.

I arrived client's office 3:55pm. Oh ok... I can still buy Blue Mountain Coffee and smoke. Great. I was feeling really sleepy after all the traffic.

After smoking I called and asked where they are... "Oh we are about to leave now"

WHAT THE FUCK?! About to leave for a 4pm meeting at 4pm?!
Ano sila si Darna? wala silang bato ok...
At hindi rin sila pwedeng mag-orb dahil hindi naman sila white-lighter!

So I said, "Ok I'll wait here. Make sure you call your client... that you will be late"
Oo daw, nasabihan na nila yung client. And so of course I said in a slight shout: "Well you should have informed me that you are running late! This is such a waste of my time! I still have so many things to do!"

Nakakairita diba???

At eto ka... dumating after 40 minutes. Pero ito pa ang catch...

"Lara, I'm sorry. But we can't present to client today. We saved the wrong file."

Utang na loob! Hindi na nga nila kailangan mag-isip eh!
Ng over!!!


Hay. Well, I guess that's really just what I have to put up with. But of course I still made talak to them. I wouldn't just let them get away with it. As a matter of fact I think may continuation pa ang sermon ko.


On the bright side, I was able to finish the template design of Nathan's Blog while watching Love Actually on Star Movies at comforts of my own home.

Well, wala talaga kong natural beauty. Somehow, I really need make-up to make myself presentable.

Every morning I go to the office without make-up. And my Thai officemates see me looking really horrible, plus with my hair all wet. And then after 15 minutes or so... sitting on my desk while checking emails and saying hi to people on YM and MSN... I put on make-up and become a person. LOL.

December 27 Brides

It's a really small world...

My friend EJ was here on a business trip (shoot to edit of a TVC) for a week. We had dinner when she arrived a week ago. And I told her that I have some bad news: I can attend her wedding, but only at the church. I can't make it to the reception because it was the same time as Jane's wedding, my officemate here. And then she said: "Who? Jane? Janey?!"

Apparently they met online at Weddings at Work... a group of brides-to-be. Ang saya diba?! And same wedding dates!

So the three of us met for dinner a day before EJ went back to Manila.
