Why I'm Addicted to the World Cup
Football (or soccer whatever you want to call it)... is one of the sports that I never imagined that I would actually enjoy watching. Being a Filipino, it's not really one of the games that we look forward too. We are too American-inspired as we watch NBA games or the US Open for tennis. But ever since I moved here in Thailand, I got into the 'football craze'.
I don't even understand the rules of the game. LOL.
But heck, I still watch it.
Why?
First, there's nothing much to do... especially when the 'boys' I'm dating cannot be disturbed during the games. But most importantly, the players are absolutely cute!!!
Here are my favorites...
England
Duh?! Who wouldn't like this guy... Victoria is such a lucky bitch.
Sweden
Oh my gosh... move over Beck. Yummy!
France
He's old... but who cares?! Super hot with his scruffy look.
Australia
I felt sad that they lost though.
Germany
I think they will make it to the finals...
Italy
Well, I hated their game against Australia. But thumbsucking Totti was just soooo cute when he got the goal during the penalty kick.
Portugal
They're playing really well this year =)
USA
Losers! LOL. It's really not their thing...
It will be another sleepless weekend - Quarter Finals of the World Cup.

Koh Samet
I was supposed to post this a long time ago... oh well.
Welcome to Koh Samet. I think it's the nicest beach that is near Bangkok. Actually Pattaya is nearer, but I think its too sleazy. This is not nice as Boracay but at least it's better than Galera or Batangas.
Scary, but fun 15-min speed boat ride =)
I'm so cute... hahahaha
Pati likod?!
My toyboy Wave.
He reminds me of Hans...
[meaning eventually, eh aamin din itong batang ito. hindi pa sha siguro ready]
Gimik... as I've said in my previous post, it's "in" to drink cocktails from small buckets with a lot of straws. Hahahaha. Here's Jazz, Ploy and Wave...
Lasing.

Hard Rock Pattaya
In case you're interested to party with us, the foam party is every Saturday night. Pattaya is only around 2-hours away from Bangkok.
Drowning in foam...
Hi-so and lonely (?) Ann, Jojoe, Wave and me
At the beach-inspired pool...
Notice that the Thais are wearing shirts. Sheesh. If my body was like them, can you imagine what I can wear?
Kami lang ni Ann among the girls ang naka-swimwear
The morning after - in Jojoe's car on our way to Rayong
I'll post pictures of Koh Samet tomorrow. Ann and Jojoe didn't join coz' of work. I was only with Wave and the operations staff in the office.

It was another long weekend...
It's amazing how many holidays we have here in Thailand!
Normally, there's only about 16 public holidays. But because of the elections and other 'Royal Celebrations' it would probably close to a month this year.
I'm kinda lazy to blog, so I'm just putting everything in bullet points... sorry if I jump from one to another. And oh, I'll post some pictures tomorrow.
- I really enjoy playing with a lot of bubbles.
- Thai girls are still generally shy about their bodies, which I totally don't understand considering that they are all very thin.
- I feel like I'm 120lbs. walking in my pink swimwear. LOL. Well, its still decent! Sort of like a tank-top with a bikini bottom.
- It's more practical to wear 2-pc especially if you're going to the restroom.
- In Thailand, people don't play beach volleyball. They like playing beach football instead.
- By the way, football is what we normally refer to as soccer.
- I love football!
- Watching the World Cup is very addictive!
- Watching the World Cup and drinking beer is great.
- Watching the World Cup with cool farangs makes it even better.
- I love Cahill of Australia. And Kaka of Brazil. At least I know more players now and not just Beckham.
- I wish USA would score a goal. LOL. I don't expect them to win, but at least have one decent goal for the entire World Cup duration.
- I don't really care who wins the World Cup though.
- I hate that my skin is darker. again.
- I love riding speedboats! It's scary but a whole lot of fun.
- Koh Samet is my favorite island - very near Bangkok with all the right people, bars and restaurants.
- Pattaya without the Hard Rock Foam Party is plain pathetic and sleazy.
- Drinking from small plastic buckets with a lot of straws is the 'in' thing.
- Pick-up trucks and motorcycle taxis are more popular modes of transportation... even more than the 'tuktuks'.
- I can never and will never ever ride a motorcycle taxi...
- I'm willing to pay 150baht for a 5-min ride in a pick-up. I can't ride at the back though. I'd rather sit in front with the driver.
- I love crabs. I think I ate almost 2 kilos during the entire trip.
- I love the beach, even if I don't know how to swim.
- I left my 795baht flipflops at the Hard Rock parking lot. LOL. I removed it and went inside the car bare feet. I just forgot to bring it in with me. It probably looks weird to have a pair of flipflops in a middle of an empty parking space.
- I'm halfway reading "The Lipstick Jungle" while I was on the beach drinking beer. I think I see my future in the three characters...
- It's great to mingle with foreigners on the beach... aroi mak mak!
- I will definitely go back to Koh Samet soon.
Watch out for pictures. Kailangan nakaupo ka when you see it. Wala na namang akong takot. Kahit na ilang kape pa ang inumin ko.

Butlers in the Buff
I LIKE!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe I should move to UK.
Or maybe I should start a business here in Thailand...
Will someone give this to me as a gift please?!
Or maybe I'll have it as a gift to myself.
I swear... if I'm 40 and still never been married (I HOPE NOT!!!), I will throw a BIG party with all my friends plus a bunch of these guys. Mark my word.
Check out BITB!

Unleashing the Inner 'Kusinera' in Me...
It all started with the sinigang.
Pork.
Beef.
And then shrimp.
It all tasted the same since I just used the sinigang mix. hahaha.
Then I ventured into doing menudo, mechado...
And over the weekend, I decided to do something different: pasta rigatoni with squid. Oh well, I think I've been watching too much cooking shows. LOL. But I'm really loving it!
I can't believe that I'm becoming really domesticated!
Pwede na kong mag-asawa?! lol

Bianca's Birthday
She's now 2 years old!
Isn't she pretty like me? =)
I can't believe it, but she was only 2 months old when I left!
Now she's a little girl...
I miss her.
